Lectures, concerts, and shared moments intertwine to create an open space where music becomes a <strong>collective experience<\/strong> and an opportunity for <strong>cultural growth<\/strong>, both for individuals and the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPassione Classica\u201d&nbsp;is a project conceived by the <em>Artistic Direction Committee<\/em> of <a href=\"https:\/\/officinafilarmonica.it\/en\/about-us\/association\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"1077\">Officina Filarmonica<\/a> and carried out under the Musical Direction of <a href=\"https:\/\/officinafilarmonica.it\/en\/about-us\/music-director\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"160\">Maestro Rocco Sbardella<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Festival \u2013 featuring the amateur musicians of Officina Filarmonica and the special participation of Maestro Luca Quaranta, Artist in Residence of the Association \u2013 offers a dialogue with the audience, who are invited to journey through eras, styles, and languages of the musical tradition, fostering exchange between different sensibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abPassione Classica was created with the aim of <strong>making classical music more accessible, vibrant, and shared<\/strong>, promoting listening, participation, and the value of culture as a common good\u00bb. With these words, the President of Officina Filarmonica, Claudio Avallone, describes the Association\u2019s commitment to the community: \u00abMusic is a shared heritage that must be preserved. In our vision, dialogue and collaboration between amateur and professional musicians are essential to ensuring the future of this extraordinary cultural legacy\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Program<\/strong>me<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The Festival programme is structured into <strong>three lecture-concerts<\/strong>, conceived as guided listening and in-depth exploration experiences:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list disc\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/officinafilarmonica.it\/en\/news\/passione-classica-the-wind-quintet-lecture-concert-2026-05-10\/\">The Wind Quintet<\/a><br><em><em>Sunday, May 10, 2026 &#8211; 5:00 <\/em><\/em>pm<br>The rich timbral palette and expressive evolution of the wind quintet, from Haydn to Taffanel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/officinafilarmonica.it\/en\/news\/passione-classica-mozart-and-the-singing-flute-lecture-concert-2026-05-17\/\">Mozart and the Singing Flute<\/a><br><em><em><em>Sunday, May 17, 2026 &#8211; 5:00 <\/em><\/em>pm<\/em><br>The expressive voice of the flute in Mozart\u2019s famous Concerto in G major for flute and orchestra.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/officinafilarmonica.it\/en\/news\/passione-classica-mozart-to-haydn-the-trumpets-voice-lecture-concert-2026-05-24\/\">Mozart to Haydn: the Trumpet&#8217;s Voice<\/a><br><em><em><em>Sunday, May 24, 2026 &#8211; 5:00 <\/em><\/em>pm<\/em><br>From Mozart\u2019s divertimenti to the brilliant sound of the trumpet in Haydn\u2019s Concerto in E-flat major for trumpet and orchestra.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Three events that, through the dialogue between audience and musicians, offer an opportunity to approach the forms, languages, and history of music with an engaged and informed perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Venue and Admission<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The Festival will take place in the intimate and evocative setting of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=100081801572340\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cloister of Santa Maria in Via<\/a>, located at Via del Mortaro 24, just behind Largo Chigi, in the heart of historic Rome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Admission to the Festival is free, subject to availability.
