Angelo, in Rome \u2013 with a concert titled &#8220;<strong>Discovering America<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Palazzo Taverna is a historic residence built in the 15th century on the ruins of the fortress of Giordano Orsini. The palace, mentioned by Dante in the Divine Comedy, was the residence of ambassadors and cardinals: Ippolito d\u2019Este received Bernardo and Torquato Tasso there, while Cardinal Luciano Bonaparte hosted Empress Eugenie and the poet Gioacchino Belli.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The concert is a journey through America, inspired by <strong>the music of George Gershwin<\/strong>. Gershwin&#8217;s compositions are deeply connected to the society and urban context in which they were created, blending different genres such as jazz and blues, forming a <strong>universal language<\/strong> that can evoke emotions and be understood by everyone. Nevertheless, from a technical and orchestral perspective, Gershwin&#8217;s music is complex and intricate, now appreciated and recognized within the realm of classical music and performed worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The concert will be conducted by <a href=\"https:\/\/officinafilarmonica.it\/en\/about-us\/music-director\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/officinafilarmonica.it\/en\/about-us\/music-director\/\">Maestro Rocco Sbardella<\/a>, with the following program, adapted for orchestral ensemble:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"disc wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>George Gershwin<\/strong>, Three Preludes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>George Gershwin<\/strong>, An American in Paris<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading red\">Notice!<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"red\">We regret to inform our listeners that the <strong>available seats are sold out<\/strong>.
