At the Opera!
On Sunday, June 15, 2025, at 6:00 PM, The Musicians of Officina Filarmonica and The Corale Concinnitas will perform in the prestigious setting of the Auditorium “A. Lacerenza”, home of the Italian Army Band – located at Via Giorgio Pelosi 22, in the Military City of Rome – with a concert titled “To the Opera!”
The concert is a journey through the great masterpieces of the operatic tradition. A selection of arias, choral and instrumental pieces, designed for both opera enthusiasts and those discovering opera for the first time. An experience rich in passion, drama, and beauty.
From the brilliant wit of The Marriage of Figaro, with its romantic entanglements and lively character dynamics, to the passion of Carmen, where gypsy Spain comes alive with pulsating rhythms and seductive melodies. The overwhelming pathos of Cavalleria Rusticana, with its intense drama and raw emotion, brings the program to a powerful and expressive close.
An opportunity to be swept away by the power of opera, in an evening that celebrates love, fate, and music.
