Access pre-requisites
To enter the Officina Filarmonica Orchestra some requirements are needed.
Strings
- level equivalent to the 8th year of conservatory (old course);
or - ABRSM Grade 8;
or - enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree course in the played instrument (new course).
Woods
- level equivalent to the 5th year of conservatory (old course);
or - ABRSM Grade 6;
or - enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree course in the played instrument (new course).
Brass
- level equivalent to the 5th year of conservatory (old course);
or - ABRSM Grade 6;
or - enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree course in the played instrument (new course).
The required skills level is approximate and helps ensure a good basic musical quality. If you have any doubts about your musical level or you are not sure to meet the pre-requisites, write us and we will be happy to evaluate your specific musical situation.
One year commitment is required to applicants and in particular:
- a consistent individual study of the repertoire;
- a constant attendance at all rehearsals (three rehearsals per month);
- the attendance at all organized concerts.
